S500 Hi Lo Bed - Single and King Single
Our beautifully designed Hi-Lo bed has been designed for comfort, ease of use and affordability.
It's removeable, washable ABS sleeping panels can be easily removed for maintenance and cleaning. It features Ezi-Roll castors for easy pushing on a range of surfaces, and knee lift and back rest.
We supply our beds with Central Locking as standard.
All beds are available with either a complete bedframe (Head, Foot, Rails) or a Head and Foot which attach with brackets.

*The Safe Working Load MUST NOT be taken as the maximum user weight. Manufacturers quote a Safe Working Load for their beds. When a bed is tested, a static load is evenly distributed over the whole surface of the bed. Remember though that when a bed is in use the load is rarely static or evenly distributed. Should a visitor, for example, sit down heavily on one side of the bed then the shock load at that point will be extreme, the load will be uneven and the total combined weight may exceed the Safe Working Load. The SWL must take account not only of the weight of the user but also the weight of the mattress, bed linen & any other items loaded on to the bed eg. air pump for air-driven mattress. You should also take account of any likely weight gain by the user in the future. Typically, a mattress could weigh 20kg; an air-driven system could weigh as much as 30kg; a couple of pillows 3kg; bed linen around 12kg - the total of such items, together with anything else placed on the bed PLUS the weight of the user must NEVER exceed the Safe Working Load.
Knee Lift
We believe that the Knee Lift is so important to resident comfort that it should be a standard inclusion on beds, so we include it as standard.
Especially designed for comfort and to assist in circulation, a Knee Lift also helps reduce pressure on the lower back when the back rest is up, and helps prevent residents from sliding down when the back rest is up.
Ezi-Roll Castors
Our exceptionally smooth 125mm Dian Deluxe Castors, ensure the bed can be easily rolled on a variety of surfaces including vinyl and carpet.
Removable Washable ABS Panels
Removeable, washable ABS Panels mean all of the sleeping panels just lift off the bed - without the need for them to be unscrewed.
This makes cleaning the bed very easy, and also accessing the electrics for Maintenance.
Central Castor Locking
Our Hi-Lo beds are supplied standard with Central Locking, to ensure ease of use and safety for staff.
The beds can be ordered without Central Locking if it is not a critical requirement, however minimum order quantities apply.
