For this project at Twilight Glengarry, the requirement wasn’t a complete dining room refurbishment. Instead, the facility needed to introduce new dining chairs that offered improved functionality while blending seamlessly with furniture that had served the home well for many years.

The challenge was to ensure the new chairs didn’t look out of place.

After discussing the home’s requirements, Twilight Glengarry selected our Stephanie Dining Chair with front castors. The front castors make it easier for residents to move in and out of the chair safely, while also assisting staff when repositioning seating around the dining room.

To create a cohesive look, we carefully colour matched the timber stain and selected a complementary healthcare-grade vinyl that worked beautifully with the existing dining furniture and surrounding décor. The result is a dining room where the new chairs integrate naturally with the original furniture, avoiding the obvious contrast that often occurs when furniture is replaced in stages.

This approach also allowed the facility to upgrade only the furniture they needed, making the refurbishment more cost-effective while maintaining the warm, familiar environment that residents know and enjoy.
