Wentworth Care Furniture was engaged to be part their Aged Care wing expansion which saw a new approach to aged care operations, known as the Yackandandah Model. The project was focused on becoming an intergenerational home that is built around age segregation and aims to better unite aged care residents with the community.

We worked closely with the client to bring their vision to life by choosing the perfect beds for the rooms. We provided a mixture of Hi-Lo and Lo-Lo beds with custom-made Kingston timber head and feet. We also provided matching bedside tables to complete the look.

The use of the earth tones and Australia timber made the residents with a rural background feel more at home.
