Mayshaw Aged Care is located in Tasmania. We had the privilege to work at their Scottsdale location where they were undergoing an extension. This extension saw more rooms made available to support more residents.

We were engaged to support their lounge and dining fitout. This project took place during the COVID-19 lockdown and saw a change to the way we engaged and communicated with the client. As Wentworth Care Furniture works a lot with remote or interstate clients, this wasn’t an obstacle for us.

Mayshaw took advantage of our budget quotes and design support free services. In their early budgeting, we moved through the process as they chose their preferred products and supported the choices to ensure consistency throughout the facility. We engaged our local fabric representative to assist with choice, whilst we worked remotely to finalise the furniture choice. In the end, COVID-19 had little impact to the communication, budget and on-time delivery of this project due to our company’s social responsibility of working predominately with Australian businesses.
