A piece of furniture from Wentworth Care Furniture is an investment into the future. With proper furniture care it can last the facility or home a long time. Regular cleaning and maintenance is recommended to extend the life of your furniture.
The Australian climate can be drastic, so it is always good to remember that the heat and sunlight can impact the furniture, especially interior fabrics. We recommend placing some distance from direct sunlight or heat sources to ensure your fabrics remain vibrate for years and years. However, our outdoor furniture ranges are designed to withstand the harsh Australian climate. We recommend wiping the surfaces of our fabrics regularly with a cloth.
For our bed ranges, we recommend cleaning the metal surfaces first before using a damp cloth to remove any residue. An abrasive cloth is not recommended for metal surfaces. If you have any questions or would like more furniture care tips, please reach out to us here. Beds need to be serviced annually to ensure all functions are working correctly. If you don’t have a qualified service agent, please contact us so that we can organise this for you.
If you are looking for information about use of your bed or furniture, we have manuals available here.
The best way to clean timber furniture is with a damp cloth using a mild detergent. Timber furniture should be wiped over with a dry cloth after wiping, so that it is never wet. Do not use abrasive or harsh chemicals on timber furniture.
It is important to clean according to the manufacturer's instructions, many of which can be found here.
